Photography and Architecture writes an article about fototarkitekt
I was contacted by Julie Grahame at www.photographyandarchitecture.com requesting an interview to be featured in their Architectural Photographer Friday. After an exchange of weather report because she is located in New York and I’m in Florida, we started the lovely conversation. Her interest comes from the fact that many architectural photographers have some kind of architecture formal training like myself. Fotoarkitekt Sponsor of HSMAI South Florida Chapter
The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) is the largest international association of travel and marketing professionals. Fotoarkitekt was one of the sponsors for the South Florida Chapter for 2011 and part of 2012. At their 2011 Award Program held at the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six, I was recognized with a Certificate of Appreciation for our support and sponsorship with this organization. I want to thank Stacie Faulds, former President, and Carmen Ackerman their current President, for allowing me to participate in their monthly meetings for the past 13 months. Also a big thanks to my team conformed by Kellie Callahan and Rodrigo Sanchezleon who made this possible.
New website launched!
Finally the website is up and running! Believe or not prior to the launch of this website there was another website completely done that never made it live. The main reason was that it wasn’t mobile friendly and with the proliferation of mobile devices, browsing through smartphones and tablets was a must. I like the simplicity of the layout, the clean lines and the fact that the website is all about the photography. There are a few more pages that will be coming in the next few days and weeks that will complement what is already published. I’m going to have a space for sharing techniques and reviews related to the art of architecture and interior photography. I want to say thank you to who inspires me to be a better professional and human being and are the engine behind my actions, my wife Marta and my daughter Camila. Thank you for visiting and please come back often as I will be updating the content on a regular basis.
